DVD viewing software using by Hackers to copy protected video 2007-01-18
It's a sign of the times. The software to protect hi-definition DVDs from being copied has been hacked.
The chairman of the software group says hackers have found a weakness in the software used to view Blu-Ray and HD-DVD formats.
A number of companies, including Disney, Microsoft, Intel and Panasonic had banded together to come up with the system that the hackers cracked.
Reports say the hacked copy prevention software's no longer available.
