Firefox 2.0.0.5: correction of the fault implying IE 2007-07-18
The navigator of Foundation Mozilla knows a new update in order to correct several problems of safety including one implying Internet Explorer.
The exit of the new grinding of the fretterer to red panda A seems it precipitated a little intervening two days before the date initially envisaged.
IE as a designated culprit?
Within the framework of its usual cycle of versions of maintenance, this estampillée version 2.0.0.5 has the role to correct several vulnerabilities eight including three qualified criticisms. Among these last, that which will hold our attention is without any doubt the fault which made great noise recently because related to the use of the navigator of Microsoft, Internet Explorer, via the possibility of calling by its contest an authority of Firefox since a malicious Web page with the passage of potentially dangerous data (the option - chromium is put at part).
This partly ascribable vulnerability with Internet Explorer, does not affect however only Firefox but also Thunderbird for which a corrective measure exists right now, without counting software not developed under the aegis of Mozillla, like Trillian apparently. It is thus to envisage very quickly the release of a version 2.0.0.5 de Thunderbird.
N.B: Foundation Mozilla specifies well that its patch prevents the acceptance of dangereous data because of its products via a call coming from Internet Explorer which, with its statements, is always affected by a vulnerability.
