Hackers fly of the data stole on Monster.com 2007-08-23
According to researchers' of Symantec relayed by AFP, they are hundreds of thousands of users of the gate Monster.com employment who were victims of this attack.
On the whole, one counts 1,6 million data recovered by the pirates, in particular of the names, the postal addresses and of the telephone numbers, declared the firm editor of solutions of computer security.
The malintentionnées people used a Trojan horse (Trojan or Trojan) to reach the information stored on the waiters of Monster, probably thanks to identifiers belonging to employees of the company, explained Symantec.
This Trojan was programmed on the other side of the Atlantic to send automatically email to the users of the gate very used employment so that they return their banking information. The trick used consisted in making believe in a possibility of recruiting so that the people in the search of an employment send their banking co-ordinates.
Contacted by Symantec, Monster promised a fast reaction vis-a-vis the width of the damage.
