YouTube a 15 year old Finnish condemned for slandering 2007-08-27
Toni Veskko, a 15 years old Finnish, seemed to belong to these ignoramuses of the law. He indeed has been just condemned by the justice of his country to have diffused a video showing his teacher.
A sanction rightly
The teenager more precisely filmed, without his knowledge, Johanna Tofferi, his teaching, whereas it sang at the time of one karaoké. The video was put on line at last May. Visible during one week on the platform of video in YouTube line, it was seen 600 times before being withdrawn at the request of the director of the school establishment of Toni.
Recognized guilty by Finnish justice, the young boy will have to pour 890 euros of fine, including 800 euros for the caused psychological suffering and 90 euros for slandering. The fine can seem quite heavy, but it is advisable to specify that it video “Karaoké at the psychiatric hospital was entitled” and the teaching one described as anybody “disturbed”. A sanction rightly thus. The teaching one claimed 2.000 euros for its part, but the sum was considered to be too high for this type of offence, according to Osmo Manninen, prosecutor charged with the file questioned by service AFP the news
